The San Francisco 49ers are looking like a Super Bowl team once again against the Arizona Cardinals as they’ve picked off Carson Palmer twice in just the first quarter.

That’s not really a good sign for Arizona if you already have you’re starting quarterback giving the ball to the other team within the first 15 minutes of the game. Both have been picked off and returned deep into Arizona territory.

Well both have been thrown in Arizona territory so it made it a lot easier to eat up yardage after the interceptions. The first interception was picked off by rookie Eric Reed who intercepted Carson Palmer at San Francisco’s 39 yard line and returned it all the way to Arizona’s eight yard line.

The second was picked off by Carlos Rodgers who returned it to the 15 or 16 yard line. Both interceptions only resulted in field goals as the 49ers now trail the Cardinals 7-6.

Here are the two plays.
