The Tennessee Titans have been shopping wide receiver Kenny Britt around according to CBS. Britt has been pretty awful this season. He has caught 6 passes for 52 yards on the season through four games. It isn’y for a lack of targets necessarily, he has had 22 passes come his way.

Aside from his lack of performance on the field, his off-field issues are also hurting his trade value. Still, the Titans believe he is worth a third round pick in the draft, or a combination of picks equal to a third round selection.

The NFL trade deadline is October 29th, but Kenny Britt could not move before that date unless the Titans lower their asking price. The market seems to think that Britt is worth only a fifth round pick.

If the Titans drop their asking price he could be shipped, but only if they drop his asking price. Britt is in the final year of his rookie deal and is making $847,500 this season. That makes him affordable for a team who is considering adding him. Britt was a first round draft pick in 2009.
