To say the quarterback situation for the Houston Texans is dire would be an understatement. Quarterback Matt Schaub has spent most of the 2013 season throwing pick-sixes, and he was hurt in today’s 38-13 loss to the St. Louis Rams. He was replaced by backup T.J. Yates, who thought to himself, “Man, despite the booing, I think these Houston fans have grown to kinda love the Matt Schaub experience. I better not let them down.” Yates promptly threw a pick-six of his own.

So what are the Houston Texans to do? Well, former Texas Longhorns quarterback Vince Young has an idea:

"Let them know VY is in shape and ready to go! I always loved my birth place and everyone who lives in it IM READY — Vince Young (@VinceYoung) October 13, 2013"

Houston, do you hear that? Vince Young is READY! How could you not take him up on that generous offer? Get your underpaid Twitter intern in contact with him ASAP!

The Texans, now 2-4, will take on the Kansas City Chiefs next weekend.
