It seems like a new story emerges out of Florida every day that proves it is the most dysfunctional, most dangerous place on Earth.

This time, Chris Duhon experienced Florida’s insanity firsthand, as he was intentionally run over by a car in an Orlando parking garage.

Duhon, currently an NBA free agent who last played for the Los Angeles Lakers, was walking with his brother-in-law, Julio Hernandez, when a black Lexus honked for the two men to get out of the way.

When the Lexus passed, the driver allegedly rolled down his window and exchanged pleasantries with Duhon. The driver then exited his car, approached Duhon and argued with him face-to-face.

According to Hernandez, he separated the two men and the driver got back into his car. As Duhon and Hernandez walked away – about 20 feet away from the Lexus – the driver accelerated towards them and hit Duhon as Hernandez managed to get out of the way.

Duhon landed on the hood of the car and hit his head on the windshield. He was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he said he didn’t remember anything about the incident.

If the driver is caught, though, Duhon plans on pressing charges.
