There are plenty of people that are terrified of heights, but for daredevil Felix Baumgartner, fear is not an option. Baumgartner shocked the world last year with his record-breaking jump for space, but we could never really grasp how amazing the feat was without seeing a first hand view.

Now, thanks to the fine folks of Red Bull, we can witness Baumgartner’s jump from 24 miles up thanks to a point-of-view video that they have released.

During the jump, Baumgartner reportedly reached speeds of up to 843.6 mph and you can tell in the video that he is cruising. The video features three camera angles to ensure we see everything that Baumgartner was witnessing as he fell from space.

Check out the Red Bull video below:

If I am being completely honest, that video is absolutely terrifying. Granted, I have a major fear of heights, so jumping from space really wouldn’t ever be my thing. Regardless of my personal fears, it is still incredible to see the point-of-view record-breaking jump.

That is something that 99 percent of the population would never attempt, but now we can at least get a feel for what it would have been like.

This makes you respect Baumgartner’s feat that much more.
