New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham injured his foot during the team’s loss to the New England Patriots in Week 6, but there doesn’t seem to be much concern about his availability moving forward.

Graham underwent an MRI on his foot Monday, but he is not expected to miss any games.

According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, there is some optimism that the Saints will have their star pass catcher back after the bye week.

Mortensen wrote:

"New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham, who could not finish Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots, is still having his left foot evaluated but there is a sense of optimism in the organization that he will be able to play after the bye week, according to league sources."

Obviously, the bye week couldn’t have come at a better time.

Graham is a crucial part of the Saints offense and he has been a big reason for their early success.

By having the extra week to recover from his foot injury, he should be good to go in Week 8 when the Saints play host to the Buffalo Bills.
