The Pittsburgh Steelers were willing to attempt anything in order to fix their offensive line, but the one move that they did make a few weeks into the season has already proven to be an utter failure.

The Steelers acquired left tackle Levi Brown for a late-round pick, but he was injured during warm ups before he could even take the field as a member of the team.

Now, his season is over, as is his career with the team — that was eventful.

The Steelers officially announced the move to place Brown on the injured reserve list on Tuesday morning, along with David Johnson.

Pittsburgh made the announcement on Twitter:

The Steelers will now need to rely on the same players that they had no confidence in to protect Ben Roethlisberger moving forward.

The good news in the Steel City is that the team was able to notch their first win of the season this weekend against the New York Jets, so things are looking up for the one-win team.
