Did the Los Angeles Lakers and Lamar Odom meet up on Monday?

We all know the trouble that former Sixth Man of the Year winner Lamar Odom has gotten himself into the last couple months, but the light at the end of the tunnel may be near.

It was pretty heartbreaking to hear what Odom was going through, well putting himself through. I know everybody has to be responsible for their actions, but it was something I never expected to hear about.

Now according to TMZ and Lamar Odom’s barber, Odom received a haircut then headed to a meeting with Los Angeles executives on Monday but nothing has been signed just yet.

It would nice to have Odom back and all, but is the organization willing to pick up someone who has been in the headlines with negative attention?

Odom’s career hasn’t really been the same since they nearly traded him a couple of seasons ago and ever since he married Khloe Kardashian. Joking about the last one, not really but alright.

Anyways, maybe if Odom somehow got himself a little help or can prove that he can fight the urge to fall back into that habit (drug addiction’s tough to overcome), then I say why not.

The guy had some amazing seasons with the Lakers and helped them win two championships in 2009-2010.
