While Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has been missing his share of practices lately, he will likely play in this Thursdays game against the rival Arizona Cardinals.

According to Pro Football Talk, a league source said, “If he’s breathing, he’s playing.”

Lynch missed Tuesday’s practice with a hip injury that also force him to miss practice last Friday. However, there was some mixup on if it was his hip or ankle that held him out of practice.

Lynch was listed as questionable with the same hip injury for last Sunday’s victory over the Tennessee Titans, but still came out and  had an amazing game. Lynch had 21 caries for 77 yards and two touchdowns. He also had a season-high four receptions for 78 yards, including a 55-yarder. The Seahawks went on to win the game 20-13.

This season, the 7th-year running back is averaging 4.2 yards a carry for 487 yards and five rushing touchdowns. He has also added 174 yards and one touchdown in the passing game.

While the Cardinals are certainly not lighting up the league, it would be a tough game for Seattle if Lynch was hindered or otherwise unavailable. But with Lynch seemingly good-to-go, chances favor the Seahawks to make it to 6-1.
