we hit week 7 in the fantasy football season, injuries continue to pile up and fantasy owners need to stay up to date on who’s in and who’s going to be out this weekend. The players below on the green light list are dealing with an injury but should play this weekend. The yellow light players are still uncertain, and the red light players you should plan on being without this week. Here’s the quick week 7 rundown:

Green Light-Expected to Play

C.J. Spiller-RB-Buffalo Bills

Andre Johnson-WR-Houston Texans
Vernon Davis-TE-San Francisco 49ers
Stevie Johnson-WR-Buffalo Bills
Julian Edelman-WR-New England Patriots
Zac Stacy-RB-St. Louis Rams
Bilal Powell-RB-New York Jets

Brandon Jacobs-RB-New York Giants
Greg Olsen-TE-Carolina Panthers

Yellow Light-Unsure to Play

Calvin Johnson-WR-Detroit Lions: Johnson will most likely play, but last week he was a shell of himself. If he’s active, you have to start him especially since he’s been practicing this week.

Rob Gronkowski-TE-New England Patriots: Gronk lives here. So far, his regular recurrence in this section has gotten him exactly no playing time, and this week looks to be the same, but see if he gets clearance since whenever he does he’ll be an elite TE option in a offense badly in need of weapons.

James Jones-WR-Green Bay Packers: Jones hasn’t practiced this week, and it would be a surprise if he gets back to the field for this week. If Jones is out, Jarrett Boykin will be the second WR making him a solid sleeper play against the Browns. As for Jones, don’t plan on him even if he’s active.

Cecil Shorts-WR-Jacksonville Jaguars: Shorts is expected to be a gametime decision for Sunday. Since the latest reports have him being unable to sleep, I doubt he’ll be ready to play come Sunday. Look elsewhere for your WR spots.

Joique Bell-RB-Detroit Lions: Bell has been limited in practice, but will likely play week 7.

Eddie Royal-WR-San Diego Chargers: Royal hasn’t practcied this week but did play through his toe injury Monday against the Colts. He may do the same this week, but isn’t a great option if he does with the emergence of Keenan Allen.

Miles Austin-WR-Dallas Cowboys: Although Austin is expected to play, he didn’t practice Thursday. Make sure he gets a full practice today before plugging him in for the weekend.

Red Light-Unlikely to Play

Randall Cobb-WR-Green Bay Packers: Cobb is out for several weeks but could come back in week 15. He’s droppable in all redraft formats for the season.

Michael Vick-QB-Philadelphia Eagles: No suspense here, Vick is out this week and Nick Foles gets another start. If you own Vick, you’d better grab Foles since he may be taking the job over for a while if he has another big week like last week.

DeMarco Murray-RB-Dallas Cowboys: While no one is sure exactly how long Murray will be sidelined, it’s pretty obvious that he’ll miss this one. He’s officially as doubtful but is expected to miss this week. With Lance Dunbar also out, expect Joseph Randle to get plenty of work this week.

Danny Amendola-WR-New England Patriots: Amendola is probably going to miss this week’s game with a new injury-a concussion. He’s officially doubtful, but don’t plan on him against the Jets. If you own Amendola, you have a backup plan already–go with it this week.

David Wilson-RB-New York Giants: Wilson won’t play this week as the Giants are “very careful” with him. He’s expected to miss another three weeks or so.

Santonio Holmes-WR-New York Jets: Holmes is still not practicing after his hamstring injury and won’t play against New England.

Matt Schaub-QB-Houston Texans: He was horrible, and he got injured. Like the Texans, just go a different direction if he’s still on your fantasy team.
