If you’re hoping to have some further clarification on the injury to New York Giants starting running back David Wilson, keep looking.

Wilson told Art Stapleton that he doesn’t believe he will have any new news on his neck injury for at least a month:

"David Wilson says no news expected on his neck “for a month” … insists he feels fine #nyg"

What Wilson exactly means by ‘no news’ is up for interpretation. Does that mean he doesn’t expect to hear any news at all or is he speaking in regards to a return to the field? The fumble-prone running back was originally diagnosed to be out around over a month, so if that holds true he would be back with a few weeks left in the regular season.

Of course, given the Giants’ poor record and near impossible chance to make the postseason, the team will likely be overly cautious with Wilson, especially considering the highly volatile nature of neck injuries.

Barring any setbacks, Wilson is tentatively scheduled to return around Week 12 or 13.
