A Gronk Smash could soon be coming to an endzone near you. According to Rob Gronkowski’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, on Friday morning, the New England Patriots star tight end has finally been cleared by all of his doctors to return to game action.

Adam Schefter of ESPN passed along the news:

Of course, this would leave everyone to believe that Gronkowski will be able to suit up for the Patriots on Sunday during their big match up against the New York Jets.

This is great news for the Patriots, especially after recent news that Gronkowski’s injury was creating tension in the locker room, so it will be interesting to see how much the Patriots will look to get Gronkowski involved in his first game back.

However, the biggest question will be how the defense can hold up without Vince Wilfork, Jerod Mayo and Aqib Talib.
