The Baltimore Ravens have activated linebacker Jameel McClain from the reserve/physically unable to perform list today, which is some great news for Ravens fans.

He was cleared to practice on Wednesday and has been listed as probable for Week 7’s match up against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This Ravens defense is looking a lot different from last seasons with Ray Lewis retiring and the departure of Ed Reed who left for Houston.

McClain suffered a spinal cord contusion against the Washington Redskins almost a year ago. It’s kept him out of action for while but now he’s eager to get back to work.

"“Physically, it feels great. If you ask me, I’m ready right now. That’s just my opinion. That will be for the coaches and Ozzie [Newsome] to decide how long it takes me to knock the rust off.” Jameel McClain told the Baltimore Sun."

The other day McClain also told the Baltimore Sun that he was unable to sleep on Tuesday after finding out he was going to be allowed to practice the next morning.
