History took place Sunday afternoon in Washington D.C. as Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears returned his nineteenth return for a touchdown, tying Deion Sanders for the most all-time.

Hester, who idolized Sanders growing up is now a single touchdown away from breaking Sanders’ record, an impressive statistic considering how often teams have opted to kick away from Hester in recent years.

The Bears return man, who took it 81-yards to the house grabbed the punt just a yard or so shy of the twenty yard line.

Soon as Hester grabbed the ball, a member of the Redskins special teams appeared literally out of nowhere, running off the sidelines in attempt to tackle Hester, who was able to high step his way out of danger and quickly began crossing to the other side of the field.

Awaiting him was green grass and a bunch of white jerseys who were lined up perfectly to block the Redskins who seemingly all went to one side of the field, leaving a massive lane for Hester to bring the punt back.

It was Hester’s 13th ever career punt return.
