Calvin Johnson grabs ridiculous touchdown catch between three defenders (GIF)

There’s a reason Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson has a nickname based off an unrealistic character.
The stuff he can do on the field just doesn’t seem real.
Case in point? This near hail mary like touchdown catch that Johnson grabbed during the fourth quarter of the game between the Detroit Lions and Cincinnati Bengals.
It wasn’t that the catch itself was impressive (it was), but it was that Johsnon seemingly grabbed the ball through three (count them, three) defensive backs. Keep in mind, the Bengals have some of the tallest defensive backs in the league, so this wasn’t Johnson simply using his size advantage to snag the ball out of the grasp of 5’8 defenders – he took it out of the clouds.
The grab was Johnson’s second touchdown on the day, this after a hit in the first quarter took off his helmet.
I guess he got his revenge.
Apparently, all the extra work Diddy has been doing for him in the press is starting to pay off as Megatron has abused the Bengals for almost 150 yards through three quarters.
