The Philadelphia Eagles’ offense looked putrid in their Week 7 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, many of the problems coming from the quarterback position. It lead to Michael Vick‘s brother, Marcus, going on an epic social media rant and fans in Philly to light up their local sports talk radio in disgust.

Injured quarterback Michael Vick watched the debacle from the sidelines and according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Vick plans to return to the team in Week 8, even if he’s not fully healthy:

"Michael Vick not yet 100 pct, source said. #Eagles won’t really know how close til Wed. Source: He’ll likely play even if less than healthy."

With head coach Chip Kelly not fully committing to Vick or Nick Foles as his starter, there was reported fear that Vick felt he may lose his job to Foles though after this past weeks performance, that seems incredibly unlikely.

Heading back onto the field still injured isn’t the best move, but give Foles’ concussion and Matt Barkley being the lone alternative, Vick really may not have any other choice.
