On the heels of losing starting quarterback Sam Bradford for the remainder of the season after a devastating ACL injury, the St. Louis Rams will likely be in the market for a quarterback. You can apparently exclude both Tim Tebow and Vince Young from the search, this according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen who says the Rams have no interest in either:

"Rams will look at a handful of quarterbacks but you can exclude Tim Tebow and Vince Young from that list."

Currently, Kellen Clemens (yes, that Kellen Clemens) is slated to start Week 8 for the Rams, though I question if they’ll be comfortable with that for the remainder of the season. I’d imagine that while Clemens will be given the immediate opportunity, it’ll only be for a few weeks.

While it’s not currently known what quarterbacks the Rams will workout/look into, the market isn’t exactly saturated so the pickings will be slim. They apparently won’t be so slim that Young or Tebow are given a call though.

The Rams and Clemens have a tough task in Week 8 as they’ll face the Seattle Seahawks.
