As pictured above, Tennessee Titans kick returner Darius Reynaud didn’t have the most auspicious start to the 2013 season. On the opening kickoff of the first game of the year, Reynaud took a knee in the end zone after already advancing the ball beyond the goal line. His gaffe gave the Pittsburgh Steelers two free points, and he made an even more costly error on Sunday when he muffed a punt that the San Francisco 49ers returned for a touchdown. Now, according the The Tennessean, Reynaud has been released by the Titans.

Reynaud spoke about his mistakes against the 49ers after the game:

"The momentum was starting to change, as you all seen. We got the ball and we were down by 14 points, and if we scored, we’re just down by seven. So I can’t put my team in that situation by making those boneheaded plays like that. All of it is on me. I have to make better decisions than I’ve done this year."

Despite his inglorious 2013 campaign, at least his low-resolution, set-to-Creed highlights from his time at West Virginia will always exist.
