No one would be able to fill Reggie Wayne’s shoes after the Indianapolis Colts placed the wide receiver on season ending injured reserve with a torn ACL. However, the Colts have replaced his spot on the roster.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Colts have added cornerback Jalil Brown to the 53-man roster.

The Colts had 10 defensive backs active Sunday against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, and while that seems like more than enough, injuries to the position have left them somewhat thin going forward.

Brown spent training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs during the summer. The 26-year-old corner was drafted by Kansas City in the fourth round of the 2011 draft. He started two games for the Chiefs and has a combined 33 tackles, two forced fumbles, and no picks in his career.
