According to the St. Louis Rams Twitter account, they expect injured quarterback Sam Bradford to make a full recovery from his ACL injury. There was some speculation that the Rams might use this as an opportunity to part ways with Bradford, but Jeff Fisher is standing by him.

He’ll be back and he’s our quarterback,” head coach Jeff Fisher said. “The knee itself is in really good shape, with the exception of the ACL. We expect a full and complete recovery.

“There’s no reason to think otherwise,” Fisher said when asked if he’d be ready for the start of the 2014 season.

In the mean time it looks like the Rams will go with Kellen Clemens at quarterback for the remainder of the season. They are exploring other options at quarterback. At the very minimum they need to sign someone to back Clemens up incase he also gets injured. Whether they bring someone they intend to start is unknown though.

Whoever they bring in would need some time to learn the playbook.
