C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson, running backs of the Buffalo Bills, did not participate in Wednesday’s practice. According to ESPN,

"Jackson was on the practice field but not wearing a helmet. Spiller wore a helmet, but pulled out of individual drills to work with the strength staff.Spiller also missed last Wednesday’s practice before returning on Thursday. In addition, linebacker Manny Lawson (hamstring) and quarterback EJ Manuel(knee) were not spotted when reporters were present."

It’s unclear whether or not Spiller or Jackson will see any game time, as both are still recovering from their injuries (Spiller’s ankle, and Jackson’s knee).

It’s also interesting to read that EJ Manuel wasn’t around for practice either. Obviously, Manuel is still recovering from his sprained right knee, and more reports have come out saying he may miss another 4-6 weeks because of it. The Bills could really use all of their players healthy and back on the field as soon as possible.

The barely got a win over the Dolphins, thanks to a forced fumble by Mario Williams late in the fourth quarter. The Bills will travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints on Sunday, and will play the Kansas City Chief in two weeks.
