Jeryl Brazil screwed up once again over the weekend and was suspended indefinitely from the team, as of Wednesday. He was arrested on Friday and finally all of the details of a ‘simple property damage’ and ‘simple battery’ charge were levied. This is Brazil’s second arrest in two months.

Jim Kleinpeter’s report on NOLA.com sums it up here:

"Brazil allegedly grabbed a woman by the neck and pushed her down before punching a hole in the wall of her apartment, LSU police department public information officer Capt. Cory Lalonde said"

It’s incredible to me how some of the most talented athletes in college football just don’t get it. There’s NO excuse for grabbing a woman by the throat or physically attacking her in any way.

On top of that, college athletes should be ultra-aware by now that their futures are more important than their stupid tempers flaring up for any reason and that it could cost them careers, but some are just so incredibly dense. If you can’t handle a situation emotionally, get away from it!

I’m sure Miles and his staff have already made their decision but are just waiting for some dotted I’s and crossed T’s to make the announcement.

He’s not coming back, not at LSU. But it also makes me wonder about the character of the kids that Miles is recruiting. “Honey Badger” had some issues there too, did he not?
