Despite being 5-2, the New England Patriots have been relatively unhealthy for the first third of the NFL season. That is quickly coming to an end as tight end Rob Gronkowski returned last week and oft-injured wide receiver Danny Amendola could be doing the same, this weekend.

Amendola, who has been nursing a variety of injuries through the seasons first eight weeks missed Week 7 with a concussion though has returned to practice and barring any setbacks, could find himself on the active roster come Week 8.

"Danny Amendola returns to practice, which is in full pads for first time since Oct. 3. Talib isn’t wearing thigh pads. No Kelly, Washington."

If Amendola does return to the lineup, there’s no word on if he’ll play on a limited snap count or if he’ll be all in. One would expect, given it was just a week absence (assuming he returns), he’ll likely play the vast majority of the snaps. His returned, paired with Gronkowski’s should open up the passing lanes for Tom Brady, who’s been incredibly sub-par for three straight weeks.
