Jordan Reed and the Washington Redskins picked up a much needed victory against the Chicago Bears this past Sunday.

It was a brutal game for Chicago as they lost both Lance Briggs and Jay Cutler to injuries that will sideline them for four plus weeks.

Reed was a standout in this competition as the rookie was able to break free from coverage and bring in passes by quarterback Robert Griffin. In his breakout game against the Chicago Bears, he picked up nine receptions for 134 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Next up the Redskins are preparing themselves for the Denver Broncos who are coming off their first loss against the Indianapolis Colts. This will be Peyton’s second game against a quarterback who came storming out of the games after the 2012 NFL draft.

Reed reported to practice today after he suffered a hip pointer against the Bears on Sunday. I expect another break out performance for this rookie tight end.

Wide receiver Leonard Hankerson didn’t practice today. He suffered a foot injury in an off-field incident. He may be limited for the rest of the week but should be able to suit up against the Broncos on Sunday.
