It looks like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have avoided another injury blow to the starting offense, but not the defense.

According to Pro Football Talk, Bucs wide receiver Mike Williams, listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, will be active for tonight’s game against the Carolina Panthers. On the other hand, safety Dashon Goldson is out with a knee injury.

Tampa Bay’s other players inactive include running backs Doug Martin and Jeff Demps, guards Carl Nicks and Patrick Omameh, wide receiver Chris Owusu, and defensive tackle Derek Landri.

The Carolina Panthers will be missing two defensive starters of their own.  Defensive tackle Dwan Edwards is out with a hamstring injury. Cornerback Josh Thomas, previously listed as probable with an illness, is also out.

The rest of Carolina’s inactives include wide receiver Tavares King and Marvin McNutt, running back Armond Smith, tight end Brandon Williams and defensive tackle Sione Fua.
