I’m not sure what they’re putting in the water at the Arizona Cardinals practice facility, but they might want to change it up given the mass of injuries the team has been dealing with.

One such player dealing with an injury is starting running back Rashard Mendenhall who was held out of practice yet again thanks to a bum toe. Mendenhall hasn’t exactly been effective on the field this season, so a less than healthy Mendenhall is a scary thought for the Cardinals’ running game.

"During the open portion of #AzCardinals practice, RB Rashard Mendenhall was the only one sitting out. Colledge, Watford, Shaughnessy working"

There’s been no indication as to if Mendenhall will miss the Cardinals’ game against the Atlanta Falcons this weekend, though if he does not practice tomorrow one might assume he’ll miss action this weekend.

If he is to miss time, Andre Ellington would likely get the start, hopefully a job he’d run away with considering how awful Mendenhall has been this  year.
