Former San Diego Chargers and New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison is a bit of a loud mouth. That’s not really meant in a negative light, it’s just that from time to time he’ll say things that really don’t have much clue about, say like the status of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Josh Freeman.

Harrison, who is an analyst for NBC’s Sunday Night Football recently suggested that he does not believe Josh Freeman suffered a concussion after the Vikings loss to the New York Giants Monday night (the link will send you to the audio).

"However, with the news that Freeman has a concussion and the Vikings playing this Sunday night, we had no choice. That’s when Rodney calls Freeman out for maybe not being as injured as we all think he is."

Because Freeman didn’t exit the game at any point with an injury nor did we see Freeman take any obvious shot to the head, I guess that’s enough evidence for Harrison to make his personal ruling.

The Vikings are not expected to start Freeman in Week 8.
