The quarterback scene around the NFL, especially for a select handful of teams, is pretty ugly right now. It’s so ugly even Jeff Garcia, who’s essentially been out of the NFL since 2009 and is nearing 45-years-of-age thought he had a chance with the Cleveland Browns.

That has lead to former NFL quarterback Vince Young unsure as to why he’s not in the league, especially with so many teams desperate for a fill-in.

Young, who most recently was with the Packers during training camp says he scratches his head over it on a daily basis:

"“Me and my wife and all my peers and fans, we’re all trying to figure this stuff out,” Young told Alex Marvez and Gil Brandt on Sirius XM NFL radio. “I don’t have the slightest idea. It’s like a huge question mark over my head every day I wake up in the morning to take care of my responsibilities and know I should be playing.“To not have one of those calls, man, it’s tough.”"

While Young wasn’t exactly the second coming with the Packers, he didn’t look awful.

Then again, with 46 career touchdowns to 51 career interceptions, that may be why the phone isn’t exactly ringing off the hook.
