NFL quarterback Vince Young is sitting at home wondering why an NFL team hasn’t given him a shot. When Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub went down, he reached out on Twitter to offer his services. When a slew of quarterbacks went down this past weekend, he expected his phone to ring. It hasn’t. One of the teams even reached out to the retired Brett Favre.

“Me and my wife and all my peers and fans, we’re all trying to figure this stuff out. I don’t have the slightest idea,” Young told Alex Marvez and Gil Brandt on Sirius XM NFL Radio on Wednesday. “It’s like a huge question mark over my head every day I wake up in the morning to take care of my responsibilities and know I should be playing. To not have one of those calls, it’s tough.”

One of the teams he might have expected to call was the St. Louis Rams, they reached out to Brady Quinn instead. Young played for Fisher with the Tennessee Titans.

Vince Young has a career record of 31-19 as a starter in the NFL.
