The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a complete disaster, and many people are pointing towards head coach Greg Schiano as the problem. Schiano is trying to run the team like he would a group of 18 to 22 year olds in college and that is just not the way to get professional athletes on your side.

On Thursday night, the Buccaneers suffered another embarrassing loss, which was followed by the media asking cornerback Darrelle Revis whether or not the team believes in their current coaching staff.

Kevin O’Donnell of FOX 13 asked, “Do you believe collectively this team still believes in the scheme and the coaching staff?”

After thinking about the question, Revis responded, “I don’t know I don’t know.  You know, we got a game plan every week. We gotta stick to the game plan. We gotta abide by the game plan and what we’re trying to do to win.

“I don’t think guys are literally going out there and trying to do their own thing.  You know, in every game there are mistakes up and down the board.  You know, the word that we have to get to and we have to focus on is consistency.  That’s all.  And at this point, that’s a hard word for us to try to do, to try to do that, to be consistent.”

The Buccaneers next game comes against the Seattle Seahawks, so it is very likely that they will hit the midway point of the season with an 0-8 record.

If the team hasn’t already lost all faith in the coaching staff, then they likely will at that point.

Schiano is likely in his final weeks of his stint with the Buccaneers, so it appears like only a matter of time until the team can try to focus on winning some football games and not worry about answering questions about their polarizing head coach.
