The Denver Broncos have apparently finally tired of Ronnie Hillman and his fumble prone ways as the backup running back will not dress this weekend when the Broncos take on the Washington Redskins.

"Confirming RB C.J. Anderson will dress Sunday. Ronnie Hillman will not."

There’s no report of any significant injury, so it appears to simply be a football decision to have Hillman sit.

More than just sitting though, he’s not even dressing, a clear indication the team is less than pleased.

Hillman has been in a bit of a rotation with starting running back Knowshon Moreno, so things are to shake up a bit in the Broncos’ backfield. The aforementioned C.J. Anderson will likely take over the third string duties, which will move Montee Ball up in the rotation.

Ball himself had some trouble with ball security when the season began, though has looked far more reliable and confident as the weeks have went on.

There’s been no indication as to what Hillman’s role will be going forward.
