Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman has made a habit out of fumbling throughout his NFL career, with one of the most notable turnovers coming last weekend in a crucial match up against the Indianapolis Colts in Peyton Manning’s return to Lucas Oil Stadium.

Hillman fumbled the ball deep in the redzone that brought an immediate end to the chances the Broncos had at making a comeback.

After taking some time to evaluate the situation, the Broncos have reportedly decided to deactivate Hillman and move forward with a different stable of running backs.

From Mike Klis of the Denver Post:

With the news Hillman will not suit up against the Washington Redskins in Week 8, so the Denver Broncos will roll with Knowshon Moreno, Monte Ball and C.J. Anderson in the backfield.

Since the Broncos are deciding to deactivate Hillman at this point in the season, there is a chance that he will not be taking the field in a Broncos uniform again this season and possibly beyond.
