Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning suffered an ankle injury and is recovering Manning was given a rest day Wednesday when he didn’t practice. He was present, but not wearing pads and not throwing.

The Broncos and Manning’s fantasy owners shouldn’t be too concerned. He has is facing the Washington Redskins on Sunday and they have a bottom-half pass defense. The Redskins are giving up an average of 262.8 yards per game passing. They’re run defense isn’t much better either. Their 126.2 yards per game allowed is ranked 29th in the NFL.

They’ll have a hard time stopping the Broncos and their arsenal of weapons. Plus, a motivated Broncos squad is coming of their first loss of the season and will be looking to rebound and get a win.

There is more pressure now for the Broncos to win and keep up with the Chiefs or they’ll fall behind in the divisional race and might wind up with a wild card berth.

He was a full participant yesterday as well.
