Professional athletes are subjected to quite a bit of criticism. Now, that’s not to say I feel sorry for them, but, at times its taken too far.

Of course, as a paying fan, you have the right to express your disappointment, something a collection of Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans felt more than content in doing after the team dropped to 0-7 Thursday night thanks to a drubbing at the hands of the Carolina Panthers.

As the team was leaving the field, a mass of Buc fans were in the stands near the team tunnel, being less than positive towards the players who were walking by. There weren’t really any boos or anything of that nature, well, not until head coach Greg Schiano walked by.

Boos began to rain down before Schiano even crossed the sideline en route to the tunnel, only getting louder as the head coach got near the fans.

Needless to say, between the hazmat suit guy and the MRSA guy, it was not a pleasant evening for Schiano.

I wonder if he heard that….
