New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola told the media earlier this week that he was ‘ready to go’ and the only blockage preventing him from playing this weekend would be a denial from the team.

He doesn’t have to worry about that as the Patriots were content with Amendola’s concussion tests and the wide receiver will take the field on Sunday for the Patriots’ Week 8 contest against the Miami Dolphins:

"Per source, Danny Amendola has been cleared and will play for the Patriots tomorrow."

It’s been a rough start to the season for Amendola, who had a huge Week 1 though has been dealing with constant injury since.

Amdenola suffered a partial abductor tear early in the year then missed a week of action after suffering a nasty hit which gave the receiver a concussion.

Feeling relatively healthy though and clear of any head injury, Amendola told the Patriots he was ready to go and the feeling is mutual.

Amendola’s addition coupled with the recent return of Rob Gronkowski should open things up for the struggling Patriots offense.
