The match up between the TCU Horned Frogs and Texas Longhorns at Amon G. Carter Stadium because the latest Week 9 game to be delayed due to weather, thanks to severe rainstorms and lightning in the area.

The game is expected to be delayed for at least two hours, with an abbreviated halftime being used to help make up for some of the lost time.

When halftime comes, the two teams will remain on the field and have just a five minute break.

The game, which is airing on FOX Sports 1, remains delayed with the Longhorns currently holding a ten-point lead, 17-7.

Once the lightning finally passes over for at least thirty minutes, the game will be able to resume. Let’s hope both teams will be able to stay warm and that the delay will not have an impact on who wins the game.

Earlier in the day, the top fifteen match up between the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Oklahoma Sooners was delayed due to weather and the game ultimately was forced to switch over to FOX News to finish out the remainder of the game.
