Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has no intention of visiting the league office during the Lion’s bye week, as he was invited to do. However, that does not mean he isn’t going to talk with league officials.

According to Pro Football Talk, Suh told ESPN’s Merril Hoge that he plans on having a videoconference with league officials on Thursday.

The NFL invited Suh to discuss a fine he received for a hit on Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weedon. The fine drew scrutiny from members of the Lions locker room, where some players thought the fine was unjust and the hit did not appear to be dirty. Suh was penalized on the play.

This was not the first time Suh has been fined by the league, and while his hit Weedon may not have warranted the fine, some of his previous hits certainly have. I’m sure Suh will make it a point to ask Thursday why he was fined.
