Every week it appears that we have one player that bursts onto the scene and becomes a fantasy football star, and this week it was a Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver. No, it wasn’t A.J. Green, who is one of the top pass catchers in the league, but it was Marvin Jones who stepped up in a huge way.

As the Bengals charged out to a 28-6 first-half lead over the New York Jets, Jones has hauled in six catches for 116 yards and an incredible three touchdowns.

With a full half of football yet to play, Jones has the potential to add to those numbers and truly be the Week 8 breakout star in fantasy. If you haven’t already, head to your league’s waiver wire to see if Jones has been scooped up.

Chances are he already has.
