Florida State has been as dominant as any team in college football this season and was able to handle N.C. State this past week.  In the latest BCS Rankings, the Seminoles find themselves behind the Oregon Ducks for the second spot for the National Championship and the Seminoles are going to need help to get in to the title game.

This week, the Seminoles play a top 10 team in Miami(Fl) but while ranked in the top 10, they have looked far from it thus far this season and the Seminoles are a substantial favorite in the game.  After that, the Seminoles play nothing but unranked opponents and have to hope they would get a boost from their opponent in the ACC Championship.

Meanwhile, Oregon comes off of a big win against UCLA and the Ducks prepare to take on Stanford this Thursday in one of the biggest games of the college football season.  The Seminoles might get a bump from playing Miami and beating them, but Oregon is able to match that with a win against Stanford if they get it.  The following two games will not be huge tests for the Ducks, but they will get a boost from beating Oregon State in the Civil War if they can defeat them.  The Beavers have only lost two games this season and one of them was to Stanford.  And if they get through that stretch undefeated, they would get another boost from the PAC-12 championship game.

It really appears as though as dominant as Florida State has been and as deserving they might to play in the National Title game, they may need a loss from either Oregon or Alabama to ensure they lock down one of those spots.  In the meantime, the Seminoles need to go out and beat the Hurricanes this week.
