With the 2013 NFL trade deadline set for tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. ET, there is plenty of discussion about which players could be moved and whether or not we will see a big name traded by the deadline on Oct. 29.
One of the most intriguing names is New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks.
The slow start for the Giants and the rise of Rueben Randle made many believe Nicks could be expendable, but it became increasingly clear that no one was going to give up a pick and pay Nicks the salary he requires for this season — especially with his underwhelming performance this season.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network even went as far as to say the Giants will not be trading Nicks.
@jasonrmcintyre Also, Giants aren’t trading him.

There could be a change of heart within the next day, but it’s highly unlikely a team is going to give up the necessary compensation to pick up a wide receiver that doesn’t have any game-changing attributes.
