There wasn’t a whole lot to overreact to this week in the NFL. We are at the slump of the NFL schedule where six teams are on a bye and there isn’t as much action to go around. With only 13 games on the NFL schedule for Week 8, at least eight of the games were decided by more than two scores. The bad teams lost and the good teams won; not much to overreacting there. But, this still is the NFL, the place where hyperbole lives. Here are some of the overreactions to come from Week 8.

Dez made a nice catch, but catch of the year??? Please… Dez showed everyone that he is a classless, self centered diva whose only concern is his own stat line–why else was he coming unglued while his team was AHEAD??? I’ll tell you why: he didn’t want to look like the fool that he is, with his empty trash talk about being as good as CJ. He wanted the ball, not because he wants to win, but because it’s all about him. He’s a punk.

you can not say jerry rice was not in a passing league when he played the forty niners were the passing game of walsh! and further more jerry rice himself that he was glad calvin beat his record because if anyone deserved it he did and your have to give credit its due! sunday 329.0 yards and two touchdowns and 14 catches that were with people all over him! CJ is the best WR in the league and he has the numbers to back it up! The very person you put out as Rice would disagree with your statement and has already said CJ is the best! just like barry sanders is the best RB ever to play in the NFL and he is in the hall of fame just like CJ will be when he hangs up the game and he will a first time ballout hall of famer just like barry!
