NFL power rankings Week 8: Chiefs solidify top spot

As we enter the midway point of the 2013-14 regular season, it’s time for the updated NFL power rankings.

With the Kansas City Chiefs sitting at 8-0 and as the lone unbeaten, they once again occupy the top spot. The Denver Broncos sit at number two after rebounding last week, while the Indianapolis Colts hold firm at No. 3. The Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints round out the top five.

As for the teams heading in the wrong direction, the Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns continue to slide, while the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still holding down the last two spots.

I love that the CHIEFS are still #1 but I thought after the game they played against the Browns that the punk-dints would have ranked them lower. GO CHIEFS

No, they deserve to be #1 in these rankings since they’re currently undefeated, but when they do finally lose a game they’ll immediately drop out of the top 5.

I guess we will see when the Chiefs go to Denver. Do you honestly think they have a chance against the Broncos? I mean it will be the first team they’ve played with the record over 500, and they’ve only played one team who is not raked in the bottom 12 which was Dallas. The Chiefs to hold the number one spot considering who they have played is mind boggling, and a couple of those games were decided by 1 point. Literally 1 point, and they were both in Kansas City. Whoever is making to the Chiefs the number one spot is being extremely generous. EXTREMELY!!!!! I mean just because you put a bunch of Pop Warner peewee league teams in front of the Chiefs to play doesn’t warrent them the number one spot in the NFL. Sorry! That’s a laugher….
