Buffalo Bills’ Thad Lewis not practicing, but E.J. Manuel is

Great news Buffalo Bills fans! Rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel returned to practice for the first time in around three-four weeks but was limited.

This is a great sign, but the current starter didn’t practice today due to a rib injury. Lewis took over for the Bills after Jeff Tuel failed to get things going for the Bills after Manuel exited against the Cleveland Browns the night of the injury.

Lewis on the other hand has been dealing with injuries ever since he was named starting quarterback for this team. No it’s not some type of curse, but his ability to stay healthy could be questioned. Right now Lewis is considered day to day and no starting quarterback for this weekend’s game has not been named just yet.

E.J. Manuel on the other hand is not expected to be available just yet as he may be sidelined until Week 12 or 13. So this is a step in the right direction, but a comeback is just out of Manuel’s reach.

Lewis has not been dealing, etc!! He has in the Saints game! How did you get this job with no ability to do due diligence?

    • David Alejandro Miniel

He’s dealt with a sprained foot, now this rib injury.

      • chas territo

It was not a sprained foot, it was a sore foot. If you saw him on the playing field, he had no limp which goes with a sprained foot, besides the team said it was sprained but Thad sais sore. I will believe the player more than the coach in this regard.

        • David Alejandro Miniel

Thaddeus himself said he had a sprained foot. He told ESPN. It wasn’t a severe sprain, but it was still a sprain.

Aaah well. I listened to him at bills.com and he said sore foot, was asked that a few times(reporters just ave to keep asking the same question because they can’t think up another q) and each time he sais sore foot. Signals get crossed all the time when you have multiple reporters who, some are lazy, can’t/don’t think outside the bos or are just in the wrong line of work. I accept what you said about his interview on ESPN, but accept mine about the bills.com interview as well.
