The Carolina Panthers are starting to look like they’re getting to where they want to be, well wanted to be from the start but it’s never too late is it?

I mean unless it’s week 17 and you’re sitting dead last,  but right now that’s not the case for this team. Right now they sit behind the Detroit Lions for one of the Wild Card spots with the last half of the season remaining.

With that being said, Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams will not be practicing today due to a quad injury. He played through the injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Thursday, but doesn’t appear to be too severe.

Right now the word on if it’s actually a severe pull hasn’t been revealed yet, but I’m sure more will be released after practice is over and the medical staff takes a look at him. This is a much needed rest day for Williams.

With Williams sitting out of practice, Jonathan Stewart is practicing but remains questionable. Stewart wasn’t sure when he was going to return so him practicing is a good sign and a step in the right direction.

If Williams sits out tomorrow, something may be up. If Williams and Stewart aren’t able to play on Sunday, then big man Mike Tolbert will more than likely get the start.
