The Minnesota Vikings signed Josh Freeman with hopes that he could turn around their luck at the quarterback position. Unfortunately for everyone involved, Freeman did a pathetic job in his Vikings debut and he didn’t look like a man capable of playing quarterback in the NFL.
Freeman suffered a concussion that kept him out of last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers, but now he is healthy and it looks like the team is ready to try their luck and give him another chance in Week 9 when they face off against the Dallas Cowboys.
From Ed Werder of ESPN:
Expecting Vikings will start Josh Freeman Sunday as Christian Ponder did nothing in unexpected opportunity and want to evaluate Freeman

The Vikings need to see what Freeman can offer, so it makes sense that they are going to place him back in the starting line up. On the other hand, the Cowboys have to be thrilled.
No matter how well Freeman performs throughout the final weeks of the season, Minnesota will be a team in the mix for the top quarterbacks in the 2014 NFL Draft class if they continue their losing ways.
