Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson is no longer one of the most feared running backs in the league. The man formerly known as CJ2K can no longer find open lanes and he struggles to run the ball with any consistent success.

In order to open things up for Johnson, the Titans are planning to give Shonne Greene a near even workload.

From Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean:

Giving Greene more work will allow Johnson to stay fresh for his big runs, while Greene pounding away at the inside of opposing defensive fronts can help open things up more for Johnson moving forward.

Johnson has been asking for an increased workload and more goal line touches, so he likely won’t be happy about the news.

Greene will gobble up most of the touches deep in scoring territory, so Johnson will have to hope he can start bringing us the Johnson of old and coming up with the big plays. His fantasy owners hope that is the case as well.
