Free agent defensive tackle Jay Ratliff is currently looking for a new place to call home and has actually picked up some interest from a couple teams.

Which is great news for Ratliff, because that means people still believe in him. Something this man needs after the fall out between him and the Cowboys. I’m not saying I’m taking Ratliff’s side, I’m just saying that the man deserves a second chance and that’s exactly what he’s getting.

So far he’s gotten some interest from the Miami Dolphins who would make a killing with him on their defensive line after having Cameron Wake, Randy Starks, Dion Jordan and Jared Ordick on the line.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, Jay Ratliff visited the Kansas City Chiefs the other day. They are also stacked on the defensive front but could bring him in as an extra piece for that defensive line. He could find a way to get himself into the rotation, but he wouldn’t play right away.

He isn’t out of the woods yet, as he still has a couple weeks before he’s healthy enough to play.

The Chicago Bears are another team who have shown interest in Ratliff.
