St. Louis Rams may go Benny Cunningham with Zac Stacy out

As the St. Louis Rams backfield turns would make for a great daytime soap opera, but sadly for them, the unfortunate reality is their inability to find a consistent running back to compliment the passing game is a big reason why the Rams are

Look no further than their loss Monday night to the Seattle Seahawks. By having Zac Stacy control the game on the ground with his 134 yards rushing, St. Louis was in position at the end of the game to get what would have been a huge upset over their division rivals.

But once Stacy went down with an ankle injury, they were unable to punch it in when they got down to the goaline at the end of the game. With Stacy now likely out for at least a game, it’s likely the team will go to Benny Cunningham if he’s healthy, which it looks like he’ll be this week:

Daryl Richardson has been ineffective and Cunningham should get a chance to play more going forward.
