The Dallas Cowboys are used to playing without Miles Austin and this season is no different. The oft-injured wide receiver once again is dealing with a nagging hamstring injury and the team is willing to let him rest and get to 100 percent before rushing back to the field and re-injuring himself.

Austin has been out of practice all week and Friday was no different.

From Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas:

The Dallas Cowboys have been very happy with the performance of rookie receiver Terrence Williams, so his emergence makes it much easier for the team to deal with Austin’s absence.

As far as Austin is concerned, he needs to be worried about whether or not the young wide receiver will be able to keep up his level of play and ultimately leapfrog him in the line up. It’s not out of the question and Austin should begin to wonder what his future in Dallas holds.
