‘Tebow to the Jags’ plane flies over Jacksonville (Photo)

There are still some Jacksonville Jaguars fans that love hometown boy Tim Tebow and dream that he can one day be their quarterback, so it isn’t a big surprise that a plane was flown over Jacksonville today with the message “Tebow to the Jags” tagging along behind.

With the team’s best offensive player currently suspended indefinitely for violating the league’s substance abuse policy again, perhaps the fan base is hoping that bringing in Timmy Terrific will be one step towards getting Justin Blackmon on the right path.

Here is a photo of the plane that was flying over Jacksonville:

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and it doesn’t get more desperate than rallying for a quarterback that can’t throw a football to join the team.

Shad Khan has repeatedly said the Jaguars will not sign Tebow, so the handful of fans that continue their attempt to make the move happen continue to be fighting for a lost cause.

Hey, at least it is entertaining.

Why do these idiot writers always say Tebow can’t throw. First of all he has not even played a full season. How can he develop without given more time? Also, I saw him pass the ball all over the Steelers and Vikings in 2011. Not to mention, the Broncos led the league in rushing that year. These writers like josh sanchez are just sheep for the NFL establishment. They are not credible at all.

I hear you Lewis. Tebow is a run first QB. Denver used that and became the #1 run team in the NFL with Tebow. Bringing is Tebow would keep teams from Keying on Jones-Drew. Then when teams moved up to stop the run…Tebow throws over them. Many forget that Tebow’s low completion % is because he did not throw the high % screen and flat passes. His yards per attempt was among the highest. Tebow completed 3 passes of over 50 yards, 5 passes of over 30 yards and 2 TD’s in the playoff win over Pittsburgh …who had the #1 pass defense and #1 over all defense in the NFL. check out
